Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following position;

Parts Sales Consultant (3 positions – Lilongwe)

Reporting to the Parts Manager, the successful candidate shall be responsible for prospecting, Parts sales cycle planning as well as administration.

Required Person:

We are interested in a person who meets the following criteria below;

  • Minimum Diploma in any Business-Related discipline
  • A qualification in Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in commercial sales.
  • Product Knowledge in automotive industry – an added advantage
  • Proven Sales & Marketing skills
  • Excellent Communication & Interpersonal abilities
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of regulations governing the Parts Sales process
  • Basic Computer Literacy
  • Team-oriented mindset

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develops monthly parts sales prospects and pipeline.
  • Track, monitor and report performance of prospects and pipeline to the Parts Manager weekly against set targets.
  • Issues and track parts sales quotations and records lost sales monthly.
  • Negotiate and close deals in line with established processes and procedures.
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge for all CFAO’s genuine parts and accessories.
  • Ensure compliance with parts sales SOPs.
  • Prepare and obtain approvals for weekly customer visits schedules, ensures that call reports for each visit are prepared and posted on the server within two days of each visit.
  • Execute 90-day tactical and action plans; report performance against targets fortnightly.
  • Reviews individual parts sales plan monthly to ensure alignment with budget parameters and targets.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints effectively in line with company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
