Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following position;

Parts Storekeeper (2 positions – Lilongwe and Blantyre)

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the successful candidate shall be responsible for general housekeeping of the Parts Warehouse as well as accurate picking and delivery of parts.

Required Person:

We are interested in a person who meets the following criteria below;

  • Diploma in any business-related field
  • Malawi School Certificate of Education with strong passes in English and Mathematics.
  • A qualification in Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply will be an added advantage (not mandatory).
  • Basic Computer Literacy
  • Physically fit and in good health
  • Good communication skills.
  • Team – oriented with a pleasant personality.
  • Honest, reliable, and eager to learn.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Files invoices and delivery notes correctly and in chronological order for easy future reference.
  • Undertakes perpetual stock counts randomly and report discrepancies.
  • Create bin locations, Update locations in the DMS, put bin label and tags in the locations for easy parts picking.
  • Checks and bins back all parts returned by the Sales Consultants.
  • Picks and delivers parts to the sales staff accurately and within prescribed turnaround times.
  • Receives parts from the suppliers, unpack, inspect, and bin them using binning sheets.
  • Ensure compliance with parts warehousing SOPs.
  • Receive orders from other branches, pick parts and dispatch accordingly to the ordering branches.
  • Uphold CFAO’s customer-centric culture.
  • Adheres to all CFAO SOPs and terms and conditions of service as laid out in the staff handbook.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
